They didn't use a lot of packaging thus the eco friendly portion lol and yet the product came in undamaged. The beautiful clean white color works well if you are looking for a stylish shredder. But the amount that you shred with this compared to the cross-cut is amazing! My one tip is to fold the paper in half so you have less of a chance for the papers to end up tangled on either sides.
